I have 1 yr old water heater.i just notice now it makes vibrating sound everytime i use hot water.whats the cause of this vibrating sound?
I don’t have an answer to your question, however, I do have the same or a similar problem—fridge not that old, freezer works fine but the fridge [it is below the freezer if that might matter] cools at 50° so it’s worthless. I can’t even afford an estimate so if anyone has a DIY “fix” I’d surely like to know about it. I’m a retired handyman so I’m hoping it wouldn’t be a big deal to do.
Hi there! 2 questions. We have a side by side refrigerator and the water trickles out. We can’t figure out why it’s so slow. Second inside by the ice maker it’s making a strange noise like it’s starting up and then stopping then starting up then stopping ect.
Susan – My guess as to the slow water (It was Handyguy Brian’s issue too) was the use of a saddle valve for connecting the water supply. http://amzn.to/2DNMS96 if you have that type of valve they can be very slow. Replace that valve with this one http://amzn.to/2DPjP4Y
As for the strange noises. Its hard to say. Change the valve first and see if the noises continue. if they do, first step I would try, the easiest thing, would be to just unplug the fridge and let it warm up to room temp. This can solve many ice maker issues. Good luck.

It depends. It could be the water moving through the pipes. It could be a vent fan (if so equipped).
I have. Whirlpool 3 door fridge fan is working, Everything it looks fine . Freezer working . Fridge not. Model #GX5FHTXVY05
