As a little Christmas gift, we thought we would share this video.
In this video, a guy apparently cuts through a 2×4 by throwing a saw-blade at it. Oh, and it looks like he cuts it on the line too. Really? A hoax? It doesn’t seem possible. What do you all think? I have watched this video several times to figure if it was a trick or not.

Hmmmm… It sure looks real to me, but you wanna know what thought first popped into my mind?? I thought you would! It is this — Mythbusters needs to try this and settle the question! 🙂
Looks (and sounds) pretty fake to me. I think I’d be worried about people “trying this at home” and somebody getting hurt when the blade ricochets off of the 2×4 and and into a bystander.
Oh that is fake. There is no way a person could throw a saw blade with enough rotational force to have it cut through a 2×4, the blade may dig in, but most likely it would just make a couple of marks in the wood and then bounce off. Even circular saws don’t cut boards this fast, and there is no way that guy can get more spin on a blade than a circular saw can.
Yeah – i’m 99.999 % sure its fake. Its a good fake.
